My first writing in this new year according to Gregorian calendar. Well I do not really celebrate new year, actually I really do not, but it is always fun to change your calendar and planning what you are going to do for this coming year. For myself, I want to read more, write more, speak more, work more and chat less. Why read, write, speak and work? Essentially, everything considered as NOT fooling around is just a combination of things that I want to do more this year. The reason I put more things to do more than things to do less even though we know that a year consist only 365 and a quarter days is because of chatting takes much more portion of my life than the other four, and indeed it makes me really not productive.
Another thing is, since tumblr is getting more and more popular, people lost their feeling about blogs. Yep, writing people's thought is much simpler using tumblr. These days, people consider blogs more about a place for a more 'proper' writing not just as media to tell your feeling. Isn't it interesting? I think so. Lately, many famous blogger (more specifically Indonesian) do not put their brain on their writing. They just bluff around telling their feeling with a cheesy manner just to make them famous. You know, you can be fun and smart in the same time, not sacrificing one or another. A late 80's Indonesian writer named Hilman (one of my favorite novel writer) made many great teenage novels (definitely unlike twilight). Written in a fun yet adequate manner of writing like what a good literature should be.
My conclusion is, keep writing. I mean, keep writing properly. People would always like to read a good writing neatly written. I guess I am running out of idea right now, then I could right no more. Anyway, I am waiting for my GPA result to come. Hope it will be a satisfaction for my pretty high standard. Well, Allah knows better than me. Cheers!!
